Welcome to Stackup. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Stackup mobile application and related financial services. Stackup is a fintech platform designed to provide rewards and cashbacks on everyday financial transactions in Nigeria.
By downloading or using the Stackup app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account on Stackup, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep such information updated.
3. Use of the App
You may use Stackup for personal, non-commercial financial transactions including sending money, receiving money, buying airtime/data, and paying utility bills. You agree not to use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purposes, including money laundering or fraudulent activities.
4. Wallet & Transactions
Stackup provides a digital wallet to facilitate your transactions. All funds held in your wallet are managed in partnership with licensed financial institutions.
Transactions are subject to limits set by us and by regulatory authorities. We reserve the right to delay or block transactions that appear suspicious or violate our security policies.
5. Rewards & Cashback
Our rewards program grants users points or cashbacks on eligible transactions. We reserve the right to modify the reward rates, eligibility criteria, or program structure at any time. Rewards gained through fraudulent or manipulative behavior will be voided.
6. Data Privacy & Collection
We collect personal information necessary to provide our services and comply with "Know Your Customer" (KYC) regulations. This includes your name, phone number, email, and BVN (Bank Verification Number).
We process your data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). We will never sell your personal information to third parties.
7. Data Security
We implement 256-bit encryption and multi-layered security protocols to protect your data. However, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and PIN. Stackup will never ask for your PIN via email or phone.
8. Third Party Services
Stackup integrates with various third-party providers (e.g., telcos, utility providers, payment switches). Your use of these integrated services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stackup shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app or any errors in financial transactions caused by third-party systems.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
